Who am i?

Talyer Roasting began as more than a love for coffee—it began as a love for growth. My background is in consulting and coaching, and as a lifelong learner, I’ve always been married to the idea of constant progress. That’s why I named my roastery Talyer—the Filipino word for workshop. Like an atelier in French, a workshop is a place where craft, curiosity, and improvement never stop.

Interestingly, coffee wasn’t my original passion. My true passion lies in using my gifts and talents to help uplift others. I just happened to enjoy a good cup of coffee. But when I decided to take coffee seriously, I pursued certifications to hone my craft. And throughout my coffee education and training, the two parts of the journey I fell in love with most were sourcing high-quality green coffee beans and roasting them.

What inspires me most is the connection coffee creates: the bridge between farmer and consumer, between hard work and appreciation. By sourcing directly from Filipino farmers, I ensure they receive the full value of their beans, while you receive coffee that is thoughtfully roasted, one batch at a time.

For me, Talyer Roasting is more than a micro-roastery. It’s a workshop in progress, where each roast is both a craft and a contribution—to better coffee, to stronger communities, and to constant growth.
